The Coalition For Financial Independence, a not-for-profit group working to combat poverty, has ordered a Kickstart Hip Pump from BB2C for its children’s garden project. Read the story of the project here.
The pump’s appeal was immediately apparent when it was demonstrated by Ysa Benjmin, resulting in the first BB2C/Kickstart sale in Cambodia.
What a proud pleasure to send the Hip Pump into a learning environment!
This is a benchmark sale for BB2C. We expect the CFI garden project will showcase the pump, helping BB2C realize growing numbers of orders. Affordable sales of Kickstart pumps in African villages have shown that timely access to the right tool can make a tremendous difference to a small farmer.
BB2C awaits confirmation of the pump’s arrival in Sambour and installation in the garden project. We hope that we will continue to see the fruits (and vegetables) of our labors as we get the word out about this simple, accessible technology to the Cambodian villagers!
