It’s all about “The DIY Foreign-Aid Revolution.” As Ufei, one of our grant writers, points out, “This is so us! Loved learning about other people’s work and am wondering about the collective power of all of our incremental progress.”
On his blog today, Kristof also added an unassumingly titled post, “How to Save the World,” that includes material cut from the magazine addressing the question, “What can I do?” Thanks to the internet, he was able to salvage tips from that sidebar and share them with the world.

Today, Paula placed an order with KickStart International for 30 Super MoneyMaker Pumps. “I know we have all waited a long time to place an order for the Hip Pump‘s big brother,” she e-mailed the team.

Kinsy Hood has joined the team in Cambodia.
Kinsy attended Fordham University’s Master’s program in International Political Economy and Development. She began her international experiences working with children in Germany, Italy and then China, managing summer programs in each country. Following her time in China, she worked with two financial institutions in Panama City, Panama. Because of her experiences in China and Panama, she developed a desire to work in international development.
Kinsy has also volunteered in Nicaragua and El Salvador, and got herself through college by working in a busy college bar — no easy task!
